These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the BeamEdUp platform operated at beamedup.in. By using our platform, you agree to these Terms.

1. Definitions

  • "Platform" refers to the BeamEdUp examination and learning management system.
  • "Organization" refers to a school, coaching center, university, or institution registered on BeamEdUp.
  • "User" refers to any individual with an account, including administrators, instructors, learners, and guardians.
  • "Content" refers to exams, questions, results, and any material uploaded to the platform.

2. Account Registration

  • You must provide accurate and complete registration information.
  • Organization administrators are responsible for managing users within their organization.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
  • You must be at least 18 years old to create an organization account. Learner accounts for minors must be created by authorized institution administrators.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the platform for any unlawful purpose
  • Upload malicious content, viruses, or harmful code
  • Attempt to bypass exam proctoring or security measures
  • Share exam content or answers with unauthorized individuals
  • Impersonate another user or misrepresent your role
  • Scrape, crawl, or automated-access the platform without permission
  • Use the platform to harass, bully, or discriminate against any user

4. Content Ownership

Organizations retain ownership of all content they create on the platform, including exams, questions, and course materials. BeamEdUp is granted a limited license to host, display, and process this content solely for providing the platform services.

5. Subscription & Billing

  • Free trials are available for 30 days with no credit card required.
  • Paid subscriptions are billed monthly or annually as selected.
  • Prices are in Indian Rupees (INR) and exclude applicable taxes (GST).
  • Refunds are provided within 7 days of a new subscription if you are unsatisfied.
  • We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days notice.

6. Data & Privacy

Your use of the platform is also governed by our Privacy Policy. Organizations are responsible for ensuring they have appropriate consent to process their users' data through our platform, especially for minors.

7. Service Availability

We strive for 99.9% uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may perform scheduled maintenance with advance notice. Our offline mode (PWA) allows exam-taking during connectivity issues.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, BeamEdUp shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you in the 12 months preceding the claim.

9. Termination

  • You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings.
  • We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
  • Upon termination, you may request an export of your data within 30 days.
  • After 30 days, your data will be permanently deleted.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Hyderabad, Telangana, India.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify users of material changes via email or platform notification. Continued use constitutes acceptance.
